Just saw a Tech Talk at work about diesels and plugin-hybrids by UC Davis' Reed Benet. One factoid I learned is that there is, apparently, a diesel/electric hybrid in the works after all:
I'd rather buy a VW TDI/hybrid though...

yeah, let's hear it for a tdi/hybrid!
ReplyDeleteI have been looking at the latest hybrid cars in the market and compiling some video clips of them. Some of the designs are really gorgeous. It seems like car manufacturers are in the race to capture the "hybrid cars" market. It's a little time overdue but at least, they are doing it. This video was taken at the New York International Auto Show - beautiful hybrid-cars
